A Word of Advice From A Local...

You want to have a car! Drive, rent, call in a favor with a friend - plan to have a car this weekend. Whether you are coming from afar, the Tri-State Area, or one of the five boroughs, Tuxedo Park is ~1 hour from NYC. The Doubletree by Hilton Mahwah on Route 17 is ~45 minutes from NYC and 15 minutes from Tuxedo Park. Public transit around Tuxedo Park is very limited. This includes Ubers being few and far between. There are public transit options (see notes on NJ Transit and Shoreline Bus) from NYC and Newark Airport to Suffern (closest to the Doubletree Route 17).

Newark International Airport

We recommend booking your flight arriving and departing from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). The easiest way to get from Newark to the Crowne Plaza is by car. If possible, we recommend renting a car. Public transportation offerings do include New Jersey Transit. *Please refer to Uber recommendations*

New Jersey Transit

NJ Transit trains run from Penn Station or Newark Airport to Suffern Station (about 10 minutes from the Crowne Plaza). These trains all require connections in Secaucus, NJ.

Shortline buses run from the Port Authority, New York, to Suffern (about 10 minutes from the Crown Plaza).
