What would a trip to New England be without a Dunkin' run! Hop on Route 1 and just drive straight and you are bound to run into one. Bonus points if you pick up something for the bride! :)

Our favorite place for a hot fresh, brick-oven pizza! Just down the road from both hotels!
Cristy's Restaurant
With over 20 types of pancakes, this is a local favorite for breakfast. Just down the street from the reception venue, Cristy's is definitely a delicious way to start your day!
Hammonasset Beach State Park
Just down I-95 from the wedding venue, a great option for a day at the beach!
Essex
The Connecticut shoreline is full of historic towns with cute shops and restaurants. Check out the bride's hometown, or one of the many other surrounding towns. Walk down to the the docks by the river, eat at the oldest running inn in America, or poke into local shops and businesses!
Mystic Seaport
A great day trip for anyone with a longer stay here in CT! Travel back in time and experience life in an eighteenth-century replica of a Connecticut costal town and explore vessels from New England's sea-faring history. A must-see for all fans of the sea.
Mohegan Sun Casino
One of two casino's in the area, a great place to shop, dine, or go out!
Newport
If you are going to be in the area for a couple days, Rhode Island is a great way to spend a beach day. They have many beautiful beaches open to the public. Just an hour and a half away, you can also tour of the Newport mansions.
