October in Albuquerque is pure magic—one, because we’re getting married (duh!), and two, because it’s Balloon Fiesta Season! Wake up early to catch the skies painted with hundreds of colorful balloons, or head to Balloon Fiesta Park for the full experience from Saturday, October 4 – Sunday, October 12, 2025.

Here are some other fun things to do:
♡Take the Sandia Peak Tramway – Ride up for breathtaking views of the city and maybe catch a sunset!
♡ Try Some New Mexican Cuisine – You must try our red and green chile (trust us!). The Range Cafe is a classic. 
♡ Brewery Hopping – Albuquerque has amazing craft breweries. La Cumbre, Marble, and Bosque are local favorites.
♡ Shop at the Rail Yards Market – If you're here on Sunday, check out this artsy market with local vendors and food trucks.
♡ Walk or Bike the Bosque Trail – A scenic way to enjoy the fall colors along the Rio Grande.
