Activities: Mission Bay Sports Center

You can rent anything here to do with water and it’s right on the bay. Pedal boats, kayaks, standup paddleboards, sailboats, jet skis. Parking is difficult so arrive early or late or plan extra time. Try searching groupon for a deal.

Activities: Mission Bay Aquatic Center

Choose from a variety of water sports at our on-site marina, including stand-up paddleboards, kayak and boat rentals, Jet Skis, whale-watching excursions, and so much more. Same idea as the Sports Center, but I think the prices are better. They also have a membership $29 per month minimum 4 months includes unlimited kayak, paddleboard and classes like paddleboard yoga, moonlight paddle and more. Worth checking out to see if it’s a good value for you.

Activities: Belmont Park

Amusement park right on the beach. Fun day activity. They have mini golf, rides and laser tag. There is also a wave surf ride and restaurant with burgers. Tables are in the sand. Another restaurant/brewery, Draft, just opened here too with great food and an ice cream shop.

SeaWorld San Diego is an animal theme park, oceanarium, outside aquarium and marine mammal park, in San Diego, California located inside Mission Bay Park.

Amusement Parks: San Diego Zoo Safari Park - also referred to as the San Diego Wild Animal Park

This is a whole day activity. We encourage you to plan ahead and get tickets. It's a 45 min to an hour drive to the wild animal park.

The San Diego Zoo is a great day activity. It's about 20 minutes from the hotel. We encourage you to check out the website to the plan ahead section if you are thinking about visiting our world famous zoo.

Pools & Waterslides at the Hyatt

Our 19-acre resort offers three pools, three water slides and private poolside cabanas. Enjoy the best aspects of a water park without having to leave our grounds.
