FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jessica Gaye and Mitchell Yaffee
We’ve gathered all the important details you’ll need to know for our big day, from venue info to transportation and dress code. Take a look to make sure you're all set to celebrate with us! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the bride + groom at mitch.jess.yaffee@gmail.com
Question

Attire

Answer

We'd love for our guests to complement our wedding vibe by dressing in the following colors:
Deep greens, warm browns, muted terracotta, dusty gold accents, and the brides favorite — black. Please avoid wearing white or ivory—we want the bride to stand out on this special day! Think natural textures, soft fabrics, and a touch of elegance. Gentlemen, no need for ties or jackets—think relaxed and stylish! Ladies, cocktail attire—flowy dresses, natural textures, and earthy tones are encouraged. Footwear Note – Our celebration will take place on grass and sand, so we recommend wearing sandals or flats for comfort. Leave the stilettos at home and enjoy the night without sinking into the ground!

Question

Driving + Parking

Answer

Our gift to you? An open bar that will keep the drinks flowing all night long! But with that in mind, we highly encourage rideshares and Ubers as we would like you to enjoy our speciality drinks. We hear Tobi has one named after her... For those who prefer to drive, there will be a valet on-site. But just remember... there’s an open bar... so maybe leave the car keys at home!

Question

Kids

Answer

Parents, this is your sign for a well-deserved night out! Dinner’s on us, and we’ve got the grown-up fun covered! We absolutely love all the littles in our lives, and while we’d love to celebrate with them too—maybe over chicken nuggets or ice cream—we’ve made the decision to keep this day special for our 18+ crowd. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Go ahead and enjoy a night off—you’ve earned it!

Question

Wine

Answer

As most of you know, Jess + Mitch aren’t wine drinkers—which means they had no clue what pairs best with tacos and churros! There will be a red and a white available at the bar, but if you consider yourself a sommelier, feel free to bring your own bottle to enjoy. What we can promise, no corkage fee. What we can't promise...wine glasses.

Question

Venue — Drop Off

Answer

Since the venue is in a residential area, maneuvering cars may be tight. If you’re using a rideshare service, we recommend having your driver drop you off at the end of the driveway at Lakeview if you're comfortable walking up the hill. If you need closer access, you can be dropped off at the gate in front of the house.
