We met during our first semester of college through our mutual friend Josh. I, Gavin, was being set up by Josh to help his friend, Valerie, study for her math final. I was nervous to talk to such a gorgeous girl but thankfully she was very friendly and easy to talk to. She may not have gotten the grade she wanted but she did end up with her future husband. And I, with my dream girl.

On New Years' day, Gavin and I went on a trip to Tampa, Florida. Gavin had been planning the trip for months, and we were both so excited to visit family and explore Florida together. We had the best time during our trip, and I remember thinking it couldn't get any better. Little did I know, it was about to turn into the happiest day of my life. On the last day of our trip, Gavin brought me to the beach for the last time as his girlfriend, and for the first time as his fiance. He orchestrated my dream proposal and asked me to marry him. I, of course, said YES! We're so excited to share the next chapter of our lives with you!
