We’re getting married!

On this day of celebration, our thoughts are also with loved ones who have passed on and could not be here. May their presence grace our hearts today, and every day of our marriage. In loving memory of Rosalie Bowman, Kevin Bowman, Clyde Pritt, and Mary Berberich.

Gavin and Meagan didn’t meet the way most couples do. They didn’t meet at a bar, or at church or even through mutual friends. They met online. More specificaly through an app called OkCupid. There’s an app for everything now-a-days Meagan came across Gavin’s profile first and swiped right. For those who down know the lingo, that means she liked him. Gavin later came across her profile and swiped right too and got a match. Neither one remembers who messaged who first but they think Gavin did. They messaged back and forth for a couple days and then they set up their first date.

Gavin and Meagan’s first date went as many first dates should. Gavin drove to Meagan’s parent’s house to pick her up. He went to the front door and met her dad and greated him with a handshake. After some breif conversation they were off on their first date. Gavin took Meagan bowling. They bowled 2 games and Gavin won by a land slide both times. He worked there though so he had a bit of an unfair advantage. They were having great conversation and really enjoyed each other so they decided to continue the date and do a round of mini golf. Gavin is good at every thing and he won that too. It was still quite early so they decided to get something to eat Gavin took Meagan to one of his favorite pizza places, Project Pie. Its like Subway but for pizza. Sadly this place is no longer open, but now there are several other places just like it. It was a Sunday so that meant The Walking Dead was on that night. Anyone who knows Meagan knows thats her favorite show. Coincedently it’s one of Gavin’s favorites too. So they head back to Meagan’s house and wait to the show to start. In the mean time they watch Bee Movie. The night ends with Meagan walking Gavin out to the porch. They say their goodbyes and give each other a hug. When they pull away they stand there looking at each other for a bit before Gavin give Meagan a very quick peck on the lips before he takes off in the other direction. I guess you could say he was nervous. And the rest is history.....
