For those traveling from Chicago, we recommend driving, which will take about three hours. If following Waze/Google Maps, ensure you’re following the toll road route to avoid taking the local route through Gary, Indiana and other routes that will lengthen your drive.

Getting to Fort Wayne via Flight

The Fort Wayne Airport (code: FWA) will take you directly to Fort Wayne, with just an easy 20 minute drive to downtown where the hotel blocks are located. If you are not renting a car, we recommend ordering your Uber/Lyft/cab in advance, to avoid a long wait. Don’t forget to grab a free cookie from the sweet volunteers greeting you when you land at FWA! The Indianapolis airport (code: IND) is approximately a 2-hour drive from Fort Wayne and offers more direct - and occasionally better priced - flights. While you won’t get the warm Fort Wayne welcome in the big city of Indianapolis 😊, it’s another option.
