FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please have your RSVPs filled out on the website by September 1, 2025.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is cocktail for the wedding, mainly due to the weather at the time of the wedding. It can get pretty cold in the mountains, so be sure to bring appropriate layers!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is considered a "child-free" wedding. Children under 15 years of age are not to be included in wedding planning, therefore there will not be accommodations for them.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have allergies, intolerances, or preferences for food, please be sure to include them in your RSVPs or contact the bride via email (lgmerrigan@gmail.com) so we can let our caterers know!

Question

How can I contact the bride if I have questions?

Answer

The bride can be contacted at any time via email: Email: lgmerrigan@gmail.com

Question

When do I need to have my lodging booked by?

Answer

All lodging requests are due by November 19, 2025

Question

How do I book a room for the wedding?

Answer

**Prior to contacting Cooper Spur, please contact the bride to let her know you would like a room and, if you are sharing a unit, the names of the people in your party** There are several different lodging options at Cooper Spur Mountain Resort, most of which are family-style log cabins and condos, with a few rustic hotel rooms as well. In order to ensure that all out of town family members are accommodated, we have arranged for them to stay together with their immediate family members in the larger cabins. These arrangements for family are, of course, optional, but we wanted to ensure that lodging would be available for those who need it. When you call CSMR to arrange your lodging, please be sure to mention that you are a guest, the date of the stay, and that you are a captain of a unit. Once a deposit has been put on a unit over the phone your room is reserved and the full payment will be charged to the card on file 2 weeks prior to check in.

Question

What is a "captain"?

Answer

A captain is the primary point of contact for the lodging being requested (i.e. if five people choose to share a cabin: one person will be in charge of placing the lodging deposit and contacting the bride with their lodging information).

Question

When is payment due for lodging?

Answer

Payment for lodging is due two weeks prior to check-in

Question

Are There Alternative Lodging Options?

Answer

Yes, there are plenty of alternative lodging options in the surrounding towns! There are a few hotels in Government Camp (15 minutes from the venue) and a few in Hood River (40 minutes from the venue). There is, also, the option of renting an AirBnB for larger groups.
