We cannot wait to welcome you into the start of our marriage! We live to serve and we cannot wait to serve you! We met five days after Emma moved to Overland Park! I moved in the middle of December 2023, and ran into my college friend who invited me to help with the middle school youth group. One of the first volunteers I met was Gavin. We chatted the entire time we were cleaning up after each youth group, and it didn't take long before I knew I liked him. At the end of February I had strategically gotten a group of us volunteers together to watch a K-State basketball game, that way I knew he was definitely going to be there. I didn't have a ride home, so Gavin was very sweet and instantly offered me a ride home. After we arrived and he helped me unload my bag, he asked me to coffee! We had our first date on February 29. We continued going on wonderful, intentional dates for the following weeks and on March 17 he asked me to be his girlfriend:) It was such a blessing spending quality time together, introducing each other to our friends and family, and enjoying our hobbies together. We continued dating just over a year. On June 27, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart, Gavin surprised me with the sweetest invitation to enter into marriage and the most intimate evening to following. We will continue living in the Kansas City, and allow God to take us where He desires:) We are beyond excited to have you join us as we enter into this sacrament!
