Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with you all at our wedding! Since we’re going for a more formal vibe, we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing jeans. We’re encouraging everyone to dress up and enjoy the chance to celebrate in style. We know "formal" can mean different things to different people, so here’s what it looks like to us: For the gentlemen, a nice pair of dress pants paired with a dress shirt or suit jacket works great — but no need for a full suit unless you’d like to! For the ladies, feel free to go for a cocktail dress, a formal floor-length gown, or even a chic pantsuit if that’s more your style. We’re excited to see everyone looking their best!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

To ensure a wonderful experience for all our guests, we've decided to keep the wedding adults-only for those 16 and older, unless otherwise stated by the wedding party. We kindly ask that you make alternative arrangements for younger children. We truly appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Am I required to spend the night Downtown?

Answer

Of course not! We totally understand that many of our friends and family live nearby, so if you'd prefer to head home for the evening, you're more than welcome to. We just ask that if you plan on drinking during the event, please arrange transportation or accommodations to ensure you get home safely. Your well-being is our priority!

Question

Will there be a shuttle provided?

Answer

Since our event will be held at The Park Hotel, we won’t be providing transportation at the end of the evening. If you're staying nearby, we encourage using Uber or a similar service to get to and from the venue. We’d love for anyone who’d like to join us for the formal marriage ceremony to meet us at the First Lutheran Church in Stoughton, WI. Parking is available on site.

Question

Are plus-ones allowed?

Answer

To ensure we stay within our venue's occupancy policy, plus-ones are only being extended to a select group of guests. If you haven't received a plus-one invitation, please feel free to reach out to us directly so we can clarify or address any questions you may have. We truly appreciate your understanding and are so excited to see you!

Question

Ceremony time

Answer

We’ve decided to save our first look for the aisle, so the ceremony will be held a bit earlier to leave room for post-ceremony photos—and to make sure we don’t miss out on the cocktail hour fun with you all at 3:30 PM! If the earlier ceremony time isn’t doable for you, we completely understand and appreciate your love and support either way. We hope to see you later in the day at cocktail hour/dinner! There’s a nice little break between the ceremony and cocktail hour, so feel free to take that time to grab lunch nearby or, if you’re local, swing by home to freshen up and relax a bit before the festivities continue!
