In the midst of the Covid shut down, we found ourselves at Cranbury Park in Norwalk for our first date. With cold drinks in hand, we walked and talked for hours on the beautiful trails, Lux darting through the leaves around us. We talked about everything and anything, not wanting the afternoon to end. Cliche as it may sound, it only took this first date for us both to know this could be IT.

Within a few short weeks, we wore the tires thin traveling between NYC (where Chelsea lived) and Norwalk (where George lived). Weekend visits started to blend together (shout out to remote work) and our bucket list started to grow! First up - The slopes of Vermont. Excited to start meeting each others friends, we headed north for our first ever trip! After that, we couldn't wait to further intertwine our lives and get the adventure started.

Exactly one year and countless amazing memories later, we were quickly approaching our 1st Anniversary. The writing was on the wall, in the most splendid shade of happiness, and we knew what we wanted to do. We packed up Chelsea's New York City apartment and made Pink Cloud Lane OUR first home. What better gift to each other than that?!

Back where it all began, Cranbury Park, on the same trail we blazed 18 months earlier. Chelsea had NO idea this wasn't any ordinary 'after work stroll' with Lux. It was a chilly evening so Chelsea asked to wear the zip-up George was holding, but he uncharacteristically said no! That id be 'plenty warm once we started walking.' ..hmmm. The three of us made our way through the trails, chatting away and watching Lux run from tree to stream and back again. As we neared the end, George started to reminisce on our time together. So many wonderful memories, celebrations, milestones and accomplishments. A long hug, a drawn out pause, and then "Will you Marry Me?" I don't think either of us can really tell you what happened in the moments following until Chelsea gave a resounding "YES, Of Course!" to the man of her dreams.

Counting down the days, we are beyond excited to share such a special occasion with you. Bringing it all back to the small town Chelsea grew up in, the whimsical Whitby Castle is the perfect setting to commemorate this milestone in our fairy tale journey. Can't wait to see you there!
