Maid of Honor
Sarah is Rachael's little sister, and will be serving as Maid of Honor. The first time Rachael met Sarah, Sarah stuck her tongue out at her. It's amazing that their relationship has progressed from that act. Now, Rachael is honored that Sarah has not only accepted the title of "Maid of Honor," but has taken on the duties so seriously that she could also be considered "Co-Wedding Planner." (Seriously, within hours of getting engaged, Sarah had spreadsheets ready to go) Sarah studied Fashion Merchandising at Marist, and is now a buyer at Bloomingdale's in Manhattan. Basically, Sarah has been the decider of all things "fashion" at this wedding, and she has done everything in her power to "make it work" for her big sister on her big day! She even found "The Dress"!
Matthew Labrie
Best Man
Matt is Andrew's big brother, and will be serving as Best Man. Andrew doesn't remember the first time he met Matt, but he has been told that "Matt started it," which became a phrase Andrew used throughout their childhood (and which was probably unwarranted). Andrew is hoping that their experience in building "forts" in the woods behind their childhood home has prepared Matt for the traditional duty of "Best Man" - fighting off suitors trying to steal away the bride. Hopefully this includes the building of a impenetrable fortress at the altar using his engineering skills. Matt studied Mechanical Engineering at RIT, and is now a mechanical engineer at Collins Aerospace (formally Hamilton Sundstrand) in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
Calli Coffee
Bridesmaid
Calli and Rachael met in Kindergarten, but stupidly waited until high school to become best friends. Calli has dealt with Rachael when she sufferend Yoo-hoo-induced sugar highs at 8am homeroom for four years, so the wedding is sure to be a breeze compared to that. Calli studied biochemistry at Bowdoin College in Maine, attended Tufts to become a Veterinarian, and is currently an Oncology Resident at the Veterinary Health Center at Kansas State University. Rachael is a bridesmaid in Calli's August 2019 wedding, and is so honored that Calli is making the trip to Connecticut so soon after her own wedding to stand by her side.
Dean Albertson
Groomsman
Dean is one of Andrew's oldest childhood friends. Dean and Andrew became friends while in preschool, and bonded over their love of baseball and soccer. The friendship continued through high school, and they graduated from Westfield High School in 2007. After graduation, Dean worked in Springfield while Andrew went to school nearby, allowing them to grace each other with their presence for another four years. Thereafter, despite demanding schedules and distance, they have remained close. Roles were reversed in 2015, when Andrew was a groomsman in Dean's wedding. Dean, his wife Ashleigh, Andrew and Rachael have enjoyed camping together in the summer. Dean and Ashleigh are the parents of three beautiful little girls - one-year-old twins Anna and Eloise, and Baby Girl due in early 2019!
