On April 20th, 2023 we began our wedding adventure with a civil ceremony in our home town of Charleston, SC! We were overjoyed to include Eliza Doolittle in the proceedings.

Before the ceremony, we took the opportunity to have a little photoshoot in the French Quarter.

With a quick wardrobe change, we headed to the ceremony!

We picked the perfect spot for the occasion, Mrs. Whaley's Garden. Jordan's former youth pastor, Bob Hinely, was kind enough to travel to Charleston to officiate.

The book Bob is reading from is an empty journal, aside from his included speech. He gave the journal to us as a gift, so we can add entries on our future anniversaries.

We were both brimming with joy, love and excitement as we signed our marriage license. Looking back, we are so thankful we chose to make the day more than just a formality before heading to France.

On May 6th, 2023 we arrived in Paris and spent a gorgeous day taking in the sights before heading to Provence!

On May 8th, 2023 (2 days before the wedding) our wedding photographer graciously met us in Les Baux-de-Provence, France for a spectacular photo opportunity.

From Jordan: Lizzie had been writing letters to her future husband since she was a child. I was surprised with this box of letters as I was getting ready. Reading the notes brought me to tears!

No matter what storms come our way, we have shelter in each others' arms and a shoulder to lean on. And so our journey as husband and wife begins!
