The Welcome Party and Wedding Ceremony/Reception will be outside. Ladies - there is a mixture of surfaces both nights, including gravel and dock on Saturday and golf grass on Sunday.
Will there be transportation provided? Transportation will not be provided for the Welcome Party on Saturday. There is a small parking lot and limited street parking; please consider carpooling. Transportation will be provided for the Wedding on Sunday. Transportation pick up will be from a centralized location i.e. The Sanctuary and drop off will be your personal accomodation. There is ample parking at the venue.
What is the closest airport? CHS - Charleston, SC
How do I get to the island from the airport? It is strongly recommended to rent a car. Uber is available at the airport to get to the island; however, ride share is not available on the island.
Where should I stay? Andell Inn is conveniently located in Freshfields Village, just off the island, and is walkable to shops and restaurants. The Sanctuary is an oceanfront five star luxury resort on the island. The Dunlin is an Auberge property located on the Kiawah River, a 10 minute drive to the island.
