It all started with chicken sandwiches! In 2020, fate brought Gaspar and Brianna together at a Chick-fil-A in Lufkin, Texas. What began as two co-workers learning the ropes soon turned into a genuine friendship as they swept floors, filled orders, and laughed through closing shifts. Their friendship deepened over time, eventually blossoming into a beautiful relationship. During this time, both were students at Stephen F. Austin State University. Gaspar went on to earn both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from SFA, eventually stepping into his career as an insurance broker. Brianna completed her undergraduate studies there as well and is now on track to finish her master’s degree in December 2025. On May 23, 2025, at the Chapel of Saints Peter and Paul—Gaspar knelt down and asked Brianna to join him in the sacrament of marriage. Surrounded by the silence of prayer and the presence of God, she said yes. Today, they continue to remain grounded in prayer, service, and a shared commitment to building a Christ-centered life.
