Arrival time begins around 4:00pm. The ceremony will start at 4:30pm!
Please go to the "TRAVEL" tab of our website to get information on the two hotels we have discounted block rates through. One is closer, a larger room, and slightly more expensive. The other is further away, a smaller room, and less expensive.
Because we want to invite as many friends and family members as possible, we cannot guarantee a plus one for everyone. We are giving priority to folks with families and long term partners, as well as folks coming in from out of town. There's a good chance we'll reach out to you directly before our RSVPs go out in late May / mid June to either confirm your plus one or to let you know if we can't give you one at this time. We are also starting a list of folks that, should it become possible, would like a plus one. Once we start getting a firm headcount after the RSVPs go out and learn if some folks we've invited can't make it, we'll begin reaching out to folks on the list to let them know they can bring a plus one if they still would like to.
Our ceremony / reception is a ways off from the parking lot, but there will be a person at the Aerie with a golf cart who will be able to give rides to folks who need the assistance (we request that if you are an able-bodied person who can make it to the wedding area on your own, please do so and leave the golf cart for folks who need the help!). The wedding area is also on top of a whole lot of barkdust. We will have a dance floor rented for the evening, but we strongly encourage y'all wear some comfortable shoes (give your feet a rest leave and the stilettos at home!).
This wedding's attire ranges from semi-formal to formal. We're asking folks to incorporate floral elements into your wardrobe, if possible! And as we stated above - you probably don't want to wear any high heels! Lots of bark dust!
We have taken the pandemic very seriously these last few years, and we want our wedding attendees to feel as safe and comfortable as possible. Our wedding is taking place completely outdoors, so hopefully that will take away some stress! Once we get closer to the actual date, we'll update everyone on any further precautions that will be taken (depending on how things are going global pandemic-wise by then).
A part of drinks at the bar will be covered - however, not everything will be free to our attendees, nor will things be covered after a certain point of the night. Because of this, we recommend bringing cash or a card along with you.
Feel free to reach out (stephen.julia.hitched@gmail.com or DM one of us) to ask us anything, and we'll be happy to answer it and potentially add it onto here. We'll add more onto our FAQ as well as we get closer to the date.
Sadly, no.
