Can I bring a physical gift to the wedding?

Answer

You sure may but we prefer you don't since we want to minimize the chance of something getting broken as we will be moving around a lot during the ceremony and the weekend after. We recommend that you visit our Amazon registry that will open on Nov. 10th or utilize Venmo. If Venmo or a physical gift is not your thing and you're more of a cash person, that is also fine.

Can I bring real flowers?

Unfortunately, real flowers are not allowed during the ceremony as per the rules outlined by NYC park services. I worked hard on getting our permit and I would be sad if we got kicked out ☹

What is the dress code for the ceremony?

What a great looking question! This is a semi formal event - however, we are still hoping to keep this a relatively casual wedding at the same time. Men, you may totally wear black jeans! Just make sure they're not the ones you wear while mowing the lawn and please no holes. Ladies, you can certainly wear pants! We just ask that whatever you do, you don't wear white. Please also kindly refrain from wearing anything that is generally too obnoxious for a wedding, so it may be best to leave your neon yellow pantsuit with red polka dots at home. Even if you did decide to wear it, we won't judge... too much. We're glad to have you either way! We highly recommend that you wear comfy shoes as we will be walking around after the ceremony in lieu of a reception.
