Nikah: This is the main wedding ceremony where the bride and groom officially become husband and wife. It is conducted by an Islamic scholar and involves the exchange of vows and signing of the marriage contract. This is usually a private event attended by close family members and friends and will be held at Garyn and Rizwan's Wedding with some American traditions infused into the tradition.
Baraat: The baraat is the groom’s procession, where he arrives at the wedding venue with his family and friends. The arrival of the baraat is accompanied by music, dancing, and fireworks. The bride’s family and friends welcome the groom and his entourage with open arms.
