We love to grab tri-tip sammies, a basket of fries or onion rings (ask for a side of bbq sauce or ranch to dip them in), and a steak cobb salad. Their ABC burger is also a solid choice and don't be afraid of the line. It moves fast!
If you haven't been to Hearst Castle, it's worth a visit! This sprawling mansion was built by William Randolph Hearst and designed by Julia Morgan. The movie, Citizen Kane, is based on Hearst's life and his castle! The Grand Rooms tour is the most common one for newcomers, but all tours include a viewing of the famous outdoor and indoor pools.
GET THE PIZZA! Gyro, chicken and garlic, and supreme are money!!
This Victorian style inn is a fun spot to stop by for some dessert. Try their huge slices of cake at the Copper Cafe and Bakery! Nina's favorite flavors are Pink Champagne and White Chocolate Raspberry! They also have a waterfall urinal which is a fun feature for the men.
Nina's favorite thai food on the central coast!
This beautiful state park is down the street from our wedding venue and has plenty of hiking trails and look out spots.
We haven't been here yet, but it has outstanding reviews on yelp and it looks like a solid vegan and gluten free option!
If you're a hot tub enthusiast (it's a thing), you have to reserve a tub here. Make sure to call in advance, because this place is usually booked out. There are beautiful open tubs on the hill of the road leading to Avila Beach with water from natural springs. It's super tranquil and quiet.
If you're going to be near Grover Beach, atving in Oceano, or checking out the monarch butterflies near Pismo Beach, stop by this tiny stop for dank fish tacos and their chilango mussels (spicy stew with fish) that hits the spot!
Gary's favorite winery! Their red wines are pretty tasty!
Adam recommends this spot for a solid brunch
"Each year thousands of vibrant orange and black Monarch Butterflies flock to Pismo Beach, seeking shelter from the freezing northern winters. From late October to February, the butterflies cluster in the limbs of a grove of Eucalyptus trees at Pismo State Beach."
If you have a hankering for donuts, this college spot is open 24/7 and they have all the donuts with all the flavors!
If you're in town Thursday evening, you have to go to this farmers market! Nina loves getting kettle corn and a few beef ribs to nibble on.
Haven't been here yet either, but it looks like a great place to grab acai or chia seed bowls and avocado toast. They have gluten free options!
