As Naomi was studying in the library Gary happened to come into the same study area. While glancing up, Naomi locked eyes with Gary. Gary too noticed Naomi, locked eyes with her and remembered her from high school. With excitement, he then came over to the vacant desk that was beside Naomi. He greeted her with a smile full of pearly whites. Gary started small talk but was kindly shut down as Naomi said, “I am sorry, but I need to finish this assignment that’s due at 6pm today”. Gary was in disbelief that he would get curved after revealing his pearly white smile. He then respected Naomi and her grind and kept quiet as she finished her work.During this time, Naomi was attending CCC in Brooklyn and after completing a hectic semester and successfully graduating with her Bachelors she wanted a smaller church home and also wanted someone God fearing.Naomi even joined Jamal and Natasha’s 5-Day Pray for your spouse challenge that was broadcasted on Instagram. She believed God while pursuing her teaching career. Little did she know that her purpose-mate was about to do the same.Gary on the other hand attended a small community church known as Miracle Temple Church of God. While finishing school as well, he was preaching, teaching, and leading. Just like Naomi, during that summer, Gary joined Jamal and Natasha’s 5-Day Pray for your spouse challenge. In fact, one night he was led by the Spirit of God to intercede for his wife to be. Without the faintest idea of her identity he felt an immense burden to plow in prayer. The prayer was so intense and fervent that time began to fade and Gary was in shock that he was able to cry out to the Lord for a person that he (thought) he didn’t know. Fast-forward to a month later, Gary sent out invitations for a revival service at his church. Naomi was one of the many to receive the invite. Naomi attended, Gary pursued, and the rest is history. Where are we now? Well, we just finished a random crazy conversation about Quantum computers.
