We met at a Thanksgiving lunch, we didn't think much of it at the time. Then after seeing each other at school, we started texting and talking more often. She offered me cookies, and I offered to help her with pharmacology and the rest was history.

She said she always dreamed of her ideal proposal from watching many Korean dramas, so I had a high bar to clear. Luckily, her best friends helped me out and we were able to surprise her at one of our favorite places to hike and visit at Crystal Cove. Sunset was approaching and when she had seen the 101 roses she started to cry and I led her to the middle of the heart shaped roses and got down on one knee and asked her if she wanted to spend the rest of her life with me. Filled with tears, she said "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you soon!
