Fate would be the word used to describe this beautiful and unique story. It sounds a bit cliche but no other word could come close to describe it. They met over 10 years ago, yes a whole decade ago. They would have never imagined being where they are now if you were to ask them then, although Alex was always hoping so. Once they met, they actually hit it off pretty great and were talking for quite awhile until Alex moved away from where Jasmine was living and eventually they lost contact and went their separate ways. Eight years went by. He came back eventually and their paths crossed once again as if it was meant to happen. As if God was writing this love story as it was happening. The timing couldn't have been more perfect and they had no idea what would be in store. The moment they met, from the moment they reconciled, to this day it is as if they are in the exact place they were always meant to be and that is with one another. There is much more to a great love story, but in the end the way they met and what it meant is what really matters in such story. It is not perfect nor romantic as The Notebook but that is what makes every love story so unique. Alex and Jasmine are lucky enough to get to experience such story. It was something they always sought and what better way to find it in each other and if you were to ask anyone they knew.. they would say they were always destined to be together. Always. And forever.

A proposal is the beginning to a forever. A proposal is a promise and a commitment. An act of love. One night Alex was talking with his mom. Having a deep conversation with her, Alex admitted that he was ready to make the commitment and take this giant step in his life. He told her this was what he always wanted since the day he met Jasmine. He saw his forever in her. As nervous as can be, Alex took Jasmine to a place he had fallen in love with when passing by one day. The place wasn't sentimental to them but it was sure beautiful. As they were surrounded by snowy mountains in Ruidoso, NM they were walking alongside a glistening lake. Alex took her around to find the perfect spot but anyone who knows Alex knows he can be quite, not careful. As he got down on one knee in an area full of mud he looked at Jasmine and for a moment he did not have one care in world (not even that he was in mud), but that he was now professing his love to the woman standing in front of him, asking her to be his forever. Knowing that this was coming, because if anyone knows Alex so well it is his future wife, Jasmine immediately said yes. Although, this was not what she ever pictured when being proposed to, but she would have not had it any other way for this was the moment she had been longing for as well.
