Our story began in 2016. Jacob and I had known of each other but had never really spoken. It wasn't until we lived in the same neighborhood that our paths finally crossed. Every time that I would drive by, I would roll my windows down and blare my music in hopes that Jacob would notice me. I definitely had a crush. Jacob and I had run into each other at a huge party and instantly had a connection. We spent all day talking about our lives and getting to know each other. At the end of the night, we went to exchange phone numbers but both of our phones were dead. I waited several long months for Jacob to reach out - because I was way too shy to do it. Thankfully Jacob wasn't. He had sent me a message on Twitter making fun of me. A roast, we shall call it. Our ease of conversation and comfortability with one another picked right back up. We haven't gone a single day without talking since then. October 7th, 2016. The beginning of our love story. We had both fallen for each other, quickly and deeply. We were inseparable from the start. We both knew that we had found something rare and beautiful within each other. It was love. August 22, 2020. The day we got engaged. We had dinner at our favorite restaurant and then Jacob wanted to catch the sunset at one of our first date spots. The ground was covered in rose petals, candles, and a handwritten note for each year that we have been together. Easiest. Yes. Ever. Soon after, we bought a house, moved in together, and got our sweet pup, Ellie. Now it's time to get married! We are doing a private ceremony at a waterfall in Georgia on April 30th, with a reception with everyone we love when we come back. It will be a fun and casual cookout at our Charlestown State Park on May 21st, 2022. We would love to see you there! Thank you for being on our journey to becoming husband + wife. We love you all so deeply.
