Everyone's health and safety is our number one priority. We're living in challenging times and we plan to have an intimate wedding for that reason (~70 people). We will be ensuring social distancing wherever possible and provide masks and sanitizer throughout the ceremony and reception. We're closely monitoring CDC guidelines in the state of CT to make sure everyone feels safe and compliant. More to come. **All unvaccinated guests must wear a mask inside the reception except when eating. We highly highly highly recommend getting vaxxed regardless of our wedding ;) ** If you do not feel comfortable, PLEASE know that we truly understand and will celebrate with you from afar! :)
Check out the "travel" tab for hotel and Airbnb rental recommendations. It's a beautiful area and we recommend you stay the weekend, if you can!
If all goes well with the weather, we aim to have our ceremony lakefront and outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held inside the Town Grove building at Lake Wononscopomuc (same address). Our cocktail hour will also be held outside at the White Hart's covered porch and lawn area (weather permitting).
After our short ceremony, the bridal party will be taking photos at the lake while guests can enjoy champagne and small bites at the lake before heading over to the 5 p.m. formal cocktail hour/reception at the White Hart.
There is ample parking at the lake for the ceremony. The cocktail hour/reception dinner that follows is just 2 miles down the road - the White Hart has parking but there is also downtown parking nearby as an overflow option. We will not be providing buses/limos but please let us know if you need arrangements to be made and we'd be happy to help accomodate.
We plan to have an intimate wedding and we're recommending semi-formal/cocktail attire!
As much as we love your little ones, this is an adult only day and evening.
