Once upon a time in a galaxy far far away … ok, maybe not so far away. In fact their story starts on a cellphone. A dating app to be exact. Yep, their love story started on Bumble. Thomas caught Kyleigh with an incredibly catchy intro about his favorite meal being breakfast and the hope to find someone to explore the best breakfast spots across Seattle. Which ironically they have only been out to breakfast twice in their entirety together.

After talking virtually, their love story starts with Thomas being Kyleigh’s night in shining armor. Their first date was set to have drinks at The Noble Fir in a neighborhood where Kyleigh grew up - Ballard. When Thomas walked in Kyleigh was getting hit on by a man at least in his late 50’s. He saved her from the awkwardness and then they spent hours talking. First date followed by a first kiss, a dating app success story in the making.

After 4 years of dating which not even covid/lockdown could slow down … they decided to take the next step. On New Years Eve going into 2023, at a park overlooking the Seattle city skyline accompanied by their best fur companion Callie, Thomas proposed! He knew how important it was to her to somehow include her late grandma in this special moment. So he popped the question with her grandma’s wedding ring. Although the proposal came as no surprise to Kyleigh because she had been checking her jewelry box everyday for a week.
