Is there a dress code?

Cocktail Attire: We recommend cocktail dresses, sundresses, dressy jumpsuits, dress shirts, and slacks. With daytime temperatures around 85° and cooler evenings, layering is both stylish and practical. Since our venue features grassy areas, we suggest selecting shoes that are comfortable and suitable for outdoor terrain.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue 10-30 minutes (no earlier) before the start time, ensuring you're comfortably seated by 4:30pm. We appreciate your thoughtfulness in arriving at just the right moment.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We truly wish we could invite all our guests’ children to our wedding, however due to limited seating, this will be an adult-only ceremony. Infants are welcome. However, DO bring your kids to the Pool Party on October 4th, as we still want to celebrate with our sweet little friends!

While we cannot include additional guests at the wedding, we warmly invite those special to you to join us for our Pool Party on October 4th.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Yes! You are welcome to bring the whole family to our Pool Party on Saturday, October 4th from 2-5pm. We will also be attending the Bethel Church 8am service. More details can be found on our Schedule page.

Do you have room blocks?
Answer
We are thrilled that our loved ones will be traveling to celebrate our special day. While we haven't arranged official room blocks, we have some helpful recommendations for finding accommodations. We suggest exploring Airbnb options first, followed by local hotels in the area. Out-of-town guests needing additional assistance or local Redding residents interested in hosting friends are invited to contact us directly.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you'd like to celebrate our special day with a gift, we warmly welcome presents sent to our home at 10576 Northgate Dr. Palo Cedro, 96073. For your convenience, we'll also have a wedding card box available at our reception.

Is there parking?
Answer
Yes, parking is conveniently available with ample street parking directly adjacent to the venue. We kindly ask that guests avoid parking in front of or blocking any driveways. Parties that arrive early or are more energetic are encouraged to park further away to leave room for those with greater need to park close.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
We kindly request an "unplugged" ceremony, inviting our guests to be fully present and share in the magic of our wedding moment. During a designated time, you'll have the opportunity to capture a photo. After the ceremony, feel free to snap away and document the celebration. We'll also create an online album to share our special day. When posting on social media, please use our wedding hashtag: #HappilyEllisAfter.
