Friends, football, and a few coy glances brought Andy and Taylor into each other's lives in 2014. Fortunately, they both happened to join their respective friends for a Thursday night out to watch the game at Tiny's bar. Their friends were mutuals and die-hard football fans so while they grew more and more invested in the game, Andy and Taylor grew more and more invested in one another. A night of stealing glances and flirtatious exchanges turned into regret after they parted ways without an exchange of phone numbers. The next day, Andy stealthily got Taylor's phone number from their mutual friends, they scheduled a date, and the rest is history!

Andy and Taylor were in Rosarito in January 2020, enjoying their annual get-away to Mexico to start off the new year. As they enjoyed a morning walk along the beach, they came across an empty cove where they stopped to watch the waves. Their conversation about life segued into Andy dropping to one knee to ask Taylor to marry him. Taylor excitedly said yes, even asking Andy to propose again because she was crying too much to watch it all happen the first time. As they walked back to the house, overjoyed and eager to share the news with family, Andy offered the idea to wait to share the news until they return home. Little did Taylor know that Andy had the best surprise up his sleeve… Here's where the best part comes in... The celebration continues as Andy and Taylor head out to get lunch at their favorite restaurant. After being seated, Andy gets up in search of "a better spot". Kind of unusual but they roll with the punches as Andy returns saying he's found the perfect spot. As they walk towards their new table, they are greeted by both of their families seated and enjoying lunch together. It takes Taylor a beat too long to realize that she's standing in front of their loved ones all together, in person, in Mexico, there to surprise her and celebrate the couple's engagement. Cue the tears and the biggest grin on Andy's face. He pulled off the surprise of a lifetime and making the weekend even more unforgettable.
