We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests due to limited capacity. We can only allow the individuals named on your invitation. You were chosen for a reason!
We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras) as we want our family and friends to be present when we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this special moment for us, so please allow them to do their best work. After the ceremony please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like, we just ask that you please not post any photos until we have posted our own.
Dress in your Sunday Best! Our wedding will be outdoors, with the reception in the pavilion. If you’d like to match the theme, our colors are shades of blue and sunflower yellow. We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white—thank you!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m. Please arrive early enough to have plenty of time to park at the high school and be carpooled over and have plenty of time to find your seat by 2:50 p.m. If you are. late we kindly ask that you please do not interrupt the ceremony and wait till Game Hour to join the celebration.
Parking at the venue is very limited. We kindly suggest carpooling from Fordland High School to help ensure there’s enough space for everyone and that all guests can be present. The venue will also have a vehicle there to take people from the high school to the venue.
Please note: Our venue has a strict no-alcohol policy. Per contract rules, anyone found in violation (including being intoxicated on the premises) will be asked to leave, and a $350+ fine will be issued. We kindly ask all guests to respect this rule, as we will not be responsible for any fines caused by non-compliance.
Please note: Smoking is only allowed in the furthest area of the parking area (closer to the road). Please be respectful of the venue’s rules and make sure no cigarette butts are left on the ground. The venue does charge an additional fee for violations, so we kindly ask everyone to follow this policy.
We absolutely love all the little ones! There will be a special kids’ table with fun activities to keep them entertained. We kindly ask that parents keep an eye on their children to ensure they stay safe and happy throughout the day.
If it rains, the ceremony will be moved to the pavilion so everyone will be comfortably sheltered from the weather.
Since we are combining two households into one, we already have most of the things we need. Instead of gifts, we would greatly appreciate contributions toward our future home, as we are saving for a deposit on a house.
You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please still RSVP "not coming" so that we have a definite answer. Thank You!
