Liv has been my best friend for 99% of my life. We grew up next door to each other and spent our childhood romping around on 10 acres letting our bare feet and imaginations run wild. From horses, to rock shops, to matching cute mall outfits in our teens years, Liv was my daily partner in every aspect of life. Aside from mud pies, Adulthood has been no different for our relationship. We still are romping around side by side but now it’s just to places like Iceland, New York, or the backcountry of Idaho. Liv is my wisdom reality checker, my “life is scary but you can do it” cheerleader, and most of all a big sister to me that has guided my through every single stage of life. She has a heart of gold and I am so incredibly lucky to have her in my life.

I’ll say it now - yes, we are from the same mother and father. And yes, we couldn’t be more different. But that is one of things I have learned to love about my brother. Growing up, we were as different as could be, but over the years, those differences have bonded us together. I couldn’t ask for a better best man than my brother. If you have a question about, well almost anything, Brenner has probably already read 8 books on the subject and can give you a well-thought out dissertation on the subject.

My swole mate, travel partner, sounding board, my laughter, and one of the great loves of my life. My favorite human to do life with. We met while working at a restaurant in our late teens, bonded over our love of the green beans, and slowly grew into a deep friendship that I will forever and ever be thankful for. We just celebrated a decade of friendship, one that has been jam packed with a zillion road trips, San Diego beaches, themed birthday parties, late nights dancing, and a zillion other memories in between.

John and I met when I was living in Utah for college. We both were invited to play in a band together and immediately became friends. John has always been someone who I can rely on when I need to talk about life, music gear, or go to a concert with.

Whitney is my little sister and one of the most kind, funny, creative, and pure hearted humans in this world. Our relationship has aged like a fine wine or cheese (a pairing that you can often see us indulging in), and I am really thankful to be enjoying the sweetness that (my) maturity has brought to our relationship. Being my little sister was a heavy burden to bare, just ask Whitney and she will quickly pop off tales of sprained ankles, oil burns, or other minor injuries due to receiving the brunt of all my evil genius creations and ideas. Thankfully Whitney survived the younger years and now as an adult knows how to stand her ground to me so there’s a few less injuries. Whitney has showed up for me over the last few years when I needed someone the most - dropping Valentine’s Day baskets off or just being a listening ear when life gets hard. I’m incredibly thankful for her friendship and I look forward to a life time more of getting to know my sister for the incredible human that she is.

What is there to say about the coolest person in the room? I first met Dave when we were both in Atlanta for a mission trip. We became friends there, and met up again in college, since we both took the same major. Over the years I have always been impressed with Dave’s abilities, talents and care that he has for everyone. Dave is the definition of what it means to be a good person, and I am so thrilled he’ll be there for our wedding.

Christa is the best friend I never knew was missing until I met her, and my heart was like, “there you are!!” Christa claims I played hard to get, but she already had my heart. I honestly don’t think I know how to NOT play hard to get…so thankfully she won me over ;) When I was interviewing for teaching jobs in my last semester of college, I took one in Nampa just as a “practice” for the schools I actually wanted to get hired at. Christa was a part of the interview since I would be her special education counter-part and I walked out of the interview with huge eyes thinking that if I didn’t get to work with Christa, I was going to be so incredibly heart broken. I honestly had no idea what I had signed up for, because the following year we both got a solid booty kicking (physically & metaphorically). Not to mention the start of being a covid teacher…All I can say is that trauma is bonding and we are bonded for life. Hah. Our friendship has gone outside of the school realm and I cherish our hikes, long phone calls, and lunches when we can sneak them in.

Joey is smarter than you. He’s also more humble, well-read, and better at any instrument than you. Now that that is out of the way - Joey and I met in college, playing in bands. After both moving to Boise, Joey has become one of my closest friends. We’ve ran countless miles together (which also make for the best times to talk about life), and currently are in Boise’s most rockin’ band together.

Devin was my first roommate out of high school where she claimed “we’re gonna be best friends forever!” and has remained one of my dearest friends since. She has the ability to make life feel like it’s going to be okay, and is the first call I make with every twist and turn. Devin was there the night I officially met Garrick and is responsible for hyping him up to get my number. Good work 😏

This is the man you have to blame for me meeting Bailey! Alex and I worked together for over 3 years and I have always felt a certain brotherhood with him. He is the kind of person that would do anything for someone in need. Al is a true friend, and can make anyone feel comfortable when they need it.
