Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid
Leave it to TN to put a bass pro shop in a pyramid. Yes, you read that right. They have the tallest elevator in the world. The view of the MS river/Memphis is beautiful. Fun fact, back in 2015, Garrett and I had one of our very first dates here!
Beale Street Entertainment District
You can’t come to Memphis and not visit Beale! I know Memphis gets a bad rep, but Beale Street is a safe option during the day. They have gift shops open, blues music playing, ice cream shops, daiquiri bars, etc. Plenty of parking lots around the street. It is right next to the FedEx forum where the Grizzlies play!
Memphis Zoo
Memphis staple! I love it! Garrett told me he loved me for the first time on the ferris wheel here :)
Sun Studio
If you’re a big music fan, Sun Studio is a pretty cool spot. It is known worldwide as “The Birthplace of Rock’n’roll” B.B. King, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis were all discovered here! You can take a tour for $20 per person.

Huey's Southaven
The Southaven/Memphis area has a couple Huey’s locations. This is my all time favorite burger joint/bar. It is nothing fancy, but their ranch is to die for. YES, it is worth going for their ranch. They have regular ranch and spicy ranch… eat it on EVERYTHING!
