Fremont Lake Campground

This campground offers 44 single sites, 4 double sites, and 1 group site that accommodates up to 50 people first come first served. We are planning to get this large group spot for party guests to be in a shared area for free. Picnic tables and fire rings with grills are provided, as are vault toilets and drinking water. A boat ramp and dock are on-site. Reservations must be made at least 4 days ahead of arrival. From U.S. 191/Pine Street in Pinedale, Wyoming, turn northeast onto Fremont Lake Road. Drive about 4 miles to a "T" junction and turn left. Go 0.2 miles, turn right at the "Y" junction and drive 3.5 miles to the campground. Flight

Rock Springs Airport (RKS) or Salt Lake City Airport (SLC)

If you are flying into the area, there are a few airport options. Jackson (JAC) may be the closest, but maybe the most expensive. Rock Springs (RKS) will be the second closest (about an hour and a half away from Pinedale) but only flies in from Denver once or twice a day, meaning no direct flights and limited options. The closest large airport with many flight options is Salt Lake City, UT (SLC) which is almost a 4-hour drive to the Pinedale area. A rental car or prearranged plans with someone from the area is recommended.
