Three days before their wedding, Garrett and Savanah landed in Salt Lake City, Utah. In true Garrett and Savanah fashion, the next day they set off on a road trip to Jackson, Wyoming. Waking up at 4:30 a.m. to be the first in line to get their marriage license in Teton County. They drove through the beautiful states of Utah, Idaho, and finally into Wyoming. Over the next couple of days, they explored a bit of Montana and the East side of Yellowstone. Finally, the day arrived. That Sunday, they woke up early to go to the grocery store to get flowers for Savanah’s hair and decided that Thai food sounded good for lunch. That afternoon, they made their way to Jenny Lake to begin a hike into the Tetons. By that afternoon, the two had taken a ferry ride across Jenny Lake, hiked to a waterfall, and finally made it to Mormon Row. In front of the Grand Tetons, surrounded by tall grass, changing fall trees, and rays of sunlight shining through the clouds, Garrett and Savanah read their vows. It was peaceful, it was quiet, and it was theirs. A memory they would treasure forever.
