Matron of Honor
Megan and I met while she was playing Giant Jenga at a Belle Hall pool party. I was working the resident event that day and was told to mingle. I was new to the job and new to the complex and didn’t know who to “mingle” with. I looked at Courtney, my co-worker and bridesmaid, and we decided we needed in on the Jenga fun. We jumped in and immediately felt like we’d been friends for years. We had a blast! The pool party ended so Ryan and I planned to move some boxes into our new apartment. Megan INSISTED on helping us move in, legit not even 4 hours into knowing each other. Have you ever just met someone and known you would be the best of friends because you just get each other? That’s us 100%. I’m so thankful for her sass, kindness, and party attitude. CU on the dance floor, Meg!

Courtney and I started working for the same company within a week of each other. Her first opinion of me was that she thought I was "granola," which meant Court thought I was a hippie because of my KAVU bag. I’m sure she didn’t see us being BFFs because of this, but our friendship made perfect sense! We spent 40 hours a week in the same office and became an unstoppable team on the job and in life! We were able to advance our careers together, make lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories in a short amount of time. She is someone I know I will be able to count on for the rest of my life, especially when it comes to any Taylor Swift info or a late night street meat run. If you hear “Bad Blood” at the wedding, watch for Court to be grooving on the dance floor!

Marisa, gah lee this girl. She and I met in Biology class freshman year of college. She thought I looked rude (keeping it PG) but she decided to sit next to me anyway. We started talking and realized we were in the same major and had very similar personalities. We set up a study date at Cookout and from there we grew into being best friends. I will always remember the night on April 13, 2013 when we shook hands and declared we would be best friends for the rest of our lives. I am so thankful for her sweet, loving, sassy and honest self and the ability to stay best friends no matter where life takes us. I couldn’t imagine entering this stage of my life without this girl by my side. Handshake promises are forever, and so is my friendship with Marisa!

Nat and I grew up in the same town and went to the same high school. We knew of each other but never had a friendship until the day we found out we both got into the bridge program at Clemson. We decided we should be roommates and started hanging out nonstop. We were in the same prom group senior year and it was by far the best prom night ever. We lost our shoes and danced barefoot all night! (Some things never change.) She helped make freshman year of college easily the best year. We were partners in crime trying to have the best time we could while still excelling in school. Natalie is one of the kindest, most loving, selfless people you will ever meet. Having her as a BFF all these years has been such a blessing. I can’t wait to take off our shoes and dance at the wedding!

Savannah and I met at Mellow Mushroom in Clemson and she first thought I was a "typical sorority girl." That changed when one night her roommates were being crazy and she needed to study so she randomly texted me and asked if she could come over to my apartment. This turned into little studying and a long night of bonding. Ryan and her husband were in basic training for the USAF around the same time, so we were able to understand and help each other through some tough days. We ended up spending tons of time together, went on a ton of adventures, and now tailgate Clemson games every year! She has been my rock in some extremely hard times and I couldn't be more thankful for her ability to be such an uplifting, wonderful best friend. Can’t wait for this hot mama to cut loose at the wedding!

Joanna and I worked at Mellow Mushroom in Clemson together. Talk about the most chill, no drama llama there is. The first time we hung out was my 21st birthday. Honestly, who is actually brave enough to come to a birthday party on the first hang out with new friends? Joanna is and man am I so glad! She can make you laugh no matter the mood you're in, she never speaks poorly of people and will always tell you the truth. Jo is the friend that is always down for anything and wants everyone to live their most fun, happiest lives. Her laugh is contagious. She cares so much about her friends & she will never miss a milestone in your life even if it means flying across the country to be there. She’s a breath of fresh air and will help to make my wedding day the most relaxed yet amazing day!
