Parking/Directions to Greystone

Answer

DRIVING: Park at the Piedmont Park parking deck North, 1322 Monroe Drive, NE, Atlanta, GA 30306. There will be a golf cart shuttling people to the venue, or you can walk (about 5min). If the lot reaches capacity before you arrive, you will see a LOT FULL sign. We have purchased pre-paid parking, which guarantees the number of spaces purchased are available in the garage. There will be an attendant at the Lot Full sign or Ticket Gate. Please proceed to talk with the attendant and let them know you are here for your host's party. Do not turn around and leave the ticket gate area even if other cars are asked to turn around. Once you speak with the attendant, they will let you proceed and pull a ticket. If you are a guest receiving a parking validation sticker, the event host will pass them out at the event. Place the sticker you receive on the ticket you got when pulling into the parking deck. ARRIVING BY UBER OR LYFT: GPS address: 1322 Monroe Drive NE, Atlanta, GA 30306. The first 30 minutes in the parking garage are free, so Uber/Lyft drivers can proceed through ticket gate, and drop you on Level 1 by the park benches, and exit without incurring a fee. Please make your driver aware of this when you arrive. Reminder: stay in line to talk to the attendant if the garage is at capacity. Your Uber/Lyft will be let in to drop off.

What's the weather going to be like?

Atlanta in the fall is lovely but the temperature for any given day is unpredictable. It will likely be in the 70s but check the weather while you're packing and plan to bring an extra layer in case it gets chilly. The welcome hour and ceremony will be outside, dinner and dancing inside.

When/how long should I be in town?

Answer

We're having a casual backyard bonfire at our place on Friday evening Nov 7th, and the wedding on Sunday afternoon/evening the 9th. If you'd like to join for all the festivities, arrive by Friday evening, and leave Monday morning, but you won't regret any extra days to spend time with friends/family or explore Atlanta.

We don't have a wedding block reserved. I would recommend an Airbnb in one of the neighborhoods mentioned under "Travel", or the Hotel Clermont.

We're catering with Fox Bros BBQ - an Atlanta staple. (Vegetarians/vegans, we have you covered too). If there are any other food allergens/requirements note it in your RSVP.
