Their long-distance friendship deepened during Covid, when they FaceTimed and MarcoPolo'd almost every day! Erin has always been such a refreshing and encouraging friend to Marissa, and always knows how to get down on the dance floor!

Marissa met Abbie and Ella in the kitchen of K-7 in the summer of 2022! They became fast friends over bowls of frozen mac and cheese, chicken hands, and coffee cake batter, where they talked all things relationships! Now they are standing by Marissa on this special day! These two are a constant joy to Marissa, even though they are in three separate places! Abbie is confident, strong, and thoughtful - Ella is joyful, inclusive, and compassionate!

A surprise blessing of Marissa's junior year at Baylor! Ashlee and Marissa officially met in the library, but met again when they started sharing a bathroom! They were quickly able to share many laughs and encouragements, and Ashlee always let Marissa practice her slide presentations for her! Ashlee is such a faithful friend, and always has an ear to listen. She inspires Marissa to persevere through tough seasons, and to remember how good our God is!

Rachel and Marissa were distant Kampers together at K-7, but never met! The summer before her freshman year at Baylor, Marissa tried to get Rachel's number on a piece of paper, but she lost it! Fast-forward to the first day of classes. Marissa was on a bike on the second floor of the SLC, and Rachel walks up right in front of her! Thanks God! Rachel invited Marissa over to her house that night, and the rest is history! Rachel has taught Marissa so much about discipleship, encouragement, and reliance on the Lord's strength, not our own. One of Marissa's favorite memories in all of college is when her and Rachel WON beach volleyball intramurals on a team together!

Emily inspires Marissa to step out of her comfort zone, learn new things, and be creative! Marissa has always admired what a strong leader Emily is, but mostly how she submits her life to the One true King!
