If you have additional time in La Paz consider booking a guided boat to visit the local ocean life. February will be peak for humpback whale calving season, whale sharks will also be in the region. In our visits to La Paz we've shared happy memories of visiting sea life we have swum with sea lions, whale sharks, snorkeled with fish, and seen whales, dolphins, manta rays etc. Tours are usually a day or half day excursion. There are many available options on the malecon; we have had good experiences with Choya Tours, Baja Offshore, and we would be happy to assist you.
