We're so excited!

We first met in college because we had the same friends, and we started getting to know each other. Over time, we started spending more time with each other than any of our other friends. Everyone (well, except us) knew we liked each other, but both of us valued our friendship too much to admit that we had feelings for each other. At some point, we couldn't ignore it any longer, and we finally started dating! When we told our friends the news, several of them had been placing bets with each other to see how long it would take us to finally start dating. We were, apparently, the last to the party!

We went to Walt Disney World with his family to celebrate his mom's birthday. While in Animal Kingdom, we finally got a chance to all take photos with a photographer so we took some of each couple. Little did I know, he had snuck the ring in his brother's backpack! When it was our turn to take our pictures, he started talking to me and I knew he was up to something. Then he got down on one knee, and I said yes!
