Garrett and I met at the beginning of the summer of 2020 through mutual friends on Snapchat. From the moment I saw him, I thought he was cute—so I took a chance and started the conversation. Neither of us knew then just how much that one small moment would change our lives. What started as long phone calls soon turned into something so much deeper, as we discovered how much we had in common and how naturally we connected. By July, we made it official and began learning how to love each other through a medium-distance relationship. That season will always hold a special place in our hearts—it was where our foundation was built, full of excitement, growth, and getting to know each other in the most genuine way. A year and a half later, Garrett asked me to spend forever with him, and not long after, he bought our first home. At just eighteen and twenty-one, we stepped into a new chapter—building a home, a family, and a life together from the ground up. Through every high and low, we’ve stood side by side—becoming parents, navigating the challenges of adulthood, supporting each other through school, career changes, and all the in-between moments that have shaped who we are today. Our love has grown through every season, and it’s something we are both so deeply proud of. After a long and meaningful engagement, we are beyond excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife. It means the world to us to celebrate this day, and our love, with all of you.
