April 14th, 2018 It all started with a snap chat. We were friends on Snap Chat and various other social medias for the longest time before Garrett worked up the nerve to send me a message on Snap Chat. He claims still to this day that it was the camouflage overalls he was wearing at the time that won me over but, I disagree. I say it was how sweet and very gentleman like he was immediately. Whenever I returned home from my beach vacation, he asked me if I would come over to hang out. I gave him the run around for the longest as to why I didn't want to hang out......in reality I was just reallllllllyyyy nervous. This went on for a few weeks. I finally agreed to hang out with him, we spent the whole afternoon getting to know one another, telling childhood stories and laughing. There was an instant connection, I believe we both knew that we were "the one" for each other. Everyone says "you just know when you know" this sounds ridiculous until you meet "the one" and actually "know". Our relationship has grown tremendously since 2018.

December 20, 2020 First things first BEST DAY EVER! We got engaged at Garvan Woodland Garden's in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Garrett told me that we were going on a double date with his parents to celebrate their anniversary, and I was all for going. I had been begging Garrett to go to Garvan Gardens for the longest time. I was very excited to go, but little did I know he had something up his sleeve. We spent the night walking around the whole park looking at all the beautiful lights and displays. When we got to the very last attraction he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said YES! OF COURSE! Now we are on the adventure of planning the wedding of our dreams.
