Let's celebrate love, & make some memories together!

Summer, 2018 in a world before the pandemic (hard to imagine, we know). A muscly strong man arrived at a work meeting a little late and sat next to a beautiful short lady. The meeting was at a yoga studio they were both employed at, but working in different locations. The nature of this fateful meeting was "authentic connections" and helping teachers better learn and retain the names of their students. The first activity was to find someone you didn't know and stare into their eyes without saying anything for 5 very awkward minutes -without introducing yourself. Due to a mutual laziness the beautiful short lady turned to the handsome man and said: "Hey I don't know you and I'm lazy, wanna be my partner?" To which the handsome man said, "Hi I also don't know you and I'm also lazy, so sure." They then stared into each other’s eyes and the handsome man could not refrain from giggling for the entire 5 mins (because it was super awkward…and he was in awe at her beautiful brown eyes). As the activity ended, the leader of the meeting disbanded the groups and began talking about how to authentically connect with students and learn their names. The greater irony was that he never allowed any time for the soon-to-be-lovers to introduce themselves. They were still “handsome muscly man” and “beautiful short girl”. A month passed and the handsome man, Garrett, was leading an anatomy lecture for the yoga studio. It just so happened that on that fateful night, the beautiful short lady, Justina, walked in late to attend the lecture with the group of yoga teachers-in-training she was co-leading. During the first break, the burgeoning power couple finally got a chance to introduce themselves and laugh at the greater irony about how they never had a chance to exchange names in a meeting about exchanging names. A true rom-com experience. As the lecture continued, Justina sat quietly in the back discretely sipping from a thermos with beer in it, while Garrett demonstrated his PowerPoint wizardry teaching anatomy to the group. The lecture concluded and Justina, mesmerized by Garrett's performance, approached the handsome man and asked for his PowerPoint and lecture notes, to which he replied, "It’s a huge file because of all the memes and videos I use, you'll need a hard drive because it is too big to send" ;) So, Justina arranged to come to his chiropractic office in the following days with her hard drive fully prepared to receive a large amount of data. ;) As the PowerPoint transferred, Garrett bedazzled her with some of the gadgets and gizmos in the office, and she lingered there for a few hours before the next class she had to teach. After she left, Garrett reached out via text and asked her if she wanted to hang out, do a yoga class together, and eat some pizza after. Justina had no idea that it was their first date.
