FAQs

If you have any other questions that are not listed in the FAQs, please contact Garrett or Jacqueline!
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 18th under the “RSVP” tab.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate the guests shown when you RSVP. If you have a plus one, they will appear under your name. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Children are welcome to celebrate with us; however, we encourage parents to enjoy the occasion as a day out together, if possible. Please note that childcare will not be provided during the ceremony or reception. Please let Garrett or Jacqueline know by July 18th if you intend to bring your wee one(s), and include if they'll need their own seat at the reception.

Question

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes, please let us know on the RSVP form!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. Cocktail hour will be held both inside the reception venue and on its outdoor patio.

Question

What is the weather going to be like?

Answer

August in St. Louis typically averages in the mid to upper 80's and humid.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be celebrated in a Catholic church, followed by the reception. In keeping with the sacred and formal nature of the day, we kindly request formal attire. Gentlemen: Suits with dress shoes (ties highly encouraged) Ladies: Cocktail or tea-length dresses to formal gowns. If you plan to wear a strapless or sleeveless dress, a light jacket, wrap, or pashmina is a perfect addition for the ceremony! We ask guests to choose attire that is elegant and respectful of the church setting. Jeans, shorts, and casual sundresses are not recommended. Most importantly, we hope you'll wear something you feel comfortable dancing in- we can't wait to celebrate on the dance floor with you!

Question

Where do I park for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot outside the church with an attendant on hand. Additional street parking is also available. The reception will have both complimentary valet and self parking with an attendant for the evening.

Question

What should we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Here are some of our favorite options! -Take photos at the Arch or Citygarden Sculpture Park -Enjoy a cocktail in the historic Union Station lobby or at 360 Rooftop Bar overlooking downtown -Stroll in the A/C at the free Saint Louis Art Museum -Stay close to the reception venue: check out the Angad Arts Hotel rooftop bar, then post up at Urban Chestnut Midtown Brewery & Biergarten (some of St. Louis’s best local beer!)

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask you to keep your phones away and be fully present with us during our ceremony.
