By God’s will, the couple’s love story began in December 2022 when they met at a deer lease in Ozona, TX. Neither expected to be there, but they were in the right place at the right time—440 miles from home, yet only living 20 miles apart. 

From the very beginning, their love grew through shared adventures—traveling to Mexico, Florida, Caddo Lake, and Colorado, and spending countless days horseback riding and hunting. 

On 2/8/2025, Garrett pulled off the perfect surprise. Gabbi thought they were heading to a birthday dinner, but before leaving, he said they needed to check a pasture. Dressed up for the night, they rode out to her favorite lookout spot, where he had a whole setup waiting. As the sun set, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. 

Now, their story is just getting started, and they can’t wait to spend forever together, making more memories and sharing a life full of love and adventure.
