Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP on our wedding website no later than January 6, 2025. After this date, if we do not hear from you we are going to assume you’re not able to make it and will mark you as not attending.

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Both the wedding and the reception will be held at the same location, Darby Farms. The wedding ceremony will be outside and the reception will be help inside.

Question

What time does the ceremony and reception start?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:00 in the afternoon. Please do not enter the venue any later than 2:50 PM. If you arrive between 2:50 and 3:00 PM please hangout in the parking area until everyone is at the alter and then you may come in and take your seats. The cocktail hour will start shortly after the ceremony and will be followed by the reception.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code will be smart casual, or your Sunday best. Cowboy boots, jeans, and a sports coat are appropriate attire for men at this event. Ladies, be sure to wear comfortable shoes as our ceremony will be held outside.

Question

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but normal weather this time of year in Florida is between the 60s and 70s and normally a low chance of rain. Please keep an eye on the weather leading up to the wedding, and make sure you bring a jacket of some sort for the evening. When the sun goes down it does get chilly.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

While we do not have hotel room blocks reserved, there are many hotels and Airbnb’s available near the venue. Please see our page on Travel for suggestions and more information.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We are not providing transportation to and from the events, but the ceremony and reception are in the same location and there is plenty of parking available. If you do not wish to drive, we suggest taking an Uber or Lyft.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar. We will be offering select wine, beer, and signature cocktails.

Question

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation includes an option for a plus one, then yes! We look forward to celebrating with you and your guest.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We welcome your little ones! We just ask that you keep a close eye on them and remove them from the ceremony if they are being disruptive.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items to help us kickstart our life together married! We are registered on Amazon, and our registry can also be found here on our website.
