There certainly isn't a lack of things to do or see in Washington, DC. Between the monuments, museums, and restaurants, you really can't go wrong. We've compiled a short list of some of our favorite places in the metropolitan area to at least get you started.
Smithsonian, museums, galleries, and zoo
The Smithsonian is a group of world class museums, galleries, and a zoo too! Take a look at their website and find one that interests you. Added bonus, there is no entrance fee for Smithsonian institutions! All are FREE!
Chloe - Restaurant

Chloe is one of our favorite restaurants in the Navy Yard neighborhood. Tapas lovers, you cannot go wrong here. You'll definitely want to make a reservation if interested.
Georgetown
You can fill an entire day just walking around the cobblestone streets of Georgetown, DC. This photo worthy historic neighborhood has tons of shops, restaurants, and charm.
District Wharf
The Wharf is a mile long stretch of waterfront restaurants, shops, and scenic views - a great hangout spot day or night.
