Waitin on the day

Before we even met, we fell in love with each other's voices, personalities, humor, histories, hearts, and souls. We bonded quickly over our shared love for Jesus, hiking, classic films, reading, and coffee. When Garrett surprised Bethany with a weekend visit and invitation to a sunrise hike, she surprised him right back by leading the way through the dark to the top of Macafee's Knob where the sun was just starting to peek over the mountaintops. And as we watched the sun continue to rise, somehow we knew that it symbolized the beginning of a beautiful romance. We complemented each other so well that it seemed we were destined to be together forever. We were like a single soul that had finally found its other half. When you know you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you can hardly wait to begin forever.
