While his stats impress, they are nothing compared to the big brother he has been to me. Someone I’ve looked up to since day one, I have tried to emulate his success in every way. He’s a great brother, father and husband, and most importantly can still do The Wop with the best of them at any wedding!

Baby sister Avery is undoubtedly the toughest little Lawyer-to-be. Growing up, we moved quite frequently and as much as we disliked attending new schools or making new friends- she has always been there. We are so proud not only of the person she is, but is yet to become. Avery has been by my side since she could walk, and I am so thankful to have her stand with us on our big day!

Our go-to sports encyclopedia, he knows everything there is to know happening in the world of sports. Even with covid ruining things, he assures me the Cowboys will be back stronger than ever and ready to break our hearts yet again. He is tough and resilient through everything life throws at him, and it’s been a joy as a big brother to watch him grow into a smart, funny and caring man. He tries to get by acting a bit shy and cool at large gatherings, but I know we’ll find him raging on the dance floor with everyone come January 16th!

We've been best-best-best friends for over 11 years. Melissa and I have traveled, laughed, and learned life lessons together since day one. After visiting her freshman year at Texas State, I knew I had to transfer and join her in all the fun! Not long after she moved to Austin, Texas, I was moving in down the street. I found myself following in her footsteps for many reasons, but mostly because she encourages me more than anything. From learning to how to drive to navigating the world of young-professionals, we've been through it all!

When I first started dating Audrey I was fearful he would be upset, but true to form he not only accepted me but quickly made me realize his genuineness was not just for show. He is sure to be a madman on the dance floor, and will be easily visible over all of the short Renken clan surrounding him!

My now sister-in-law! Taylor and I have been friends for quite some time, and it was nothing short of a dream that she married my brother. Two-hour phone calls are pretty normal for us, with the advice and the party she brings, I always tell her she is the perfect addition to our family. If there is live music and a stage, this girl is on it. If you are looking for her at the reception, you know where to find her!

From College Station to Spain and many places in between, we have been lucky to share in fun and adventures all over the world. A true gentleman, with a taste for the finer things in life, Babs is never one to hold back on a good time. A faithful friend through good times and bad, he can always be counted on for a shoulder to lean on. A shared dorm bathroom and a business major brought us together, but FIFA and laughs surely cemented our friendship!

Meg and I signed a lease to live together before we had even met! As I started my first job in Austin, Megan was moving to the lone-star state all the way from Napa, California. We hit it off immediately (like sister status) and were exploring the city every chance we got. I loved introducing her to the Texas we all love, floating the river, Wurstfest, and BBQ. She is the brightest light in any room. Every. Single. Time. And she will always be my number one hype-girl!

Bowling 300s, hitting hole-in-ones, driving the lane and draining 3s...he does it all. While all that is impressive, his ability to serenade with a song (luckily I know from experience) and sing his lungs out like nobody is watching takes the cake. Outshining all of his feats is his altruistic nature and sound advice, a friend you can always count on. A gifted renaissance man, Danny brings the fun everywhere he goes!

My Key-Key! Kathryn is the friend who will answer the phone at any given hour, and be there before you even hang up. Often called the “Twins” or “Hepburn’s” we worked side by side together in Austin, but I’d barely call it “work”, because time spent with her is nothing short of fun. She has the best outlook on life, best advice and means so, so much to me. I cannot imagine what life would be without meeting my girl.

Boasting an accent or letting out some other strange high pitched frequency, you always know when Duck is in the room!

Audra is the calm to my storm. Seriously. Meeting her the very same day I moved to Austin, TX was so exciting! She showed me all the cool spots to eat and explore, and of course made sure all of them were dog-friendly! With her insane loyalty among many other traits, she’s the creative and very stylish friend I will always look up to. From her gardening skills to her work-ethic, I adore her so much. I am so thankful for her sweet soul, and can’t forget to mention her love for animals!

Anyone that has been around our family knows, Cassie is family. She has been best friends with Avery for as long as I can remember, and I quickly got to call her my sister too.
