Question

What precautions are currently being taken for COVID?

Answer

Of course we hope things improve by March 2021. However, the venue is taking precautions with COVID-19. This includes space for social distancing, masks available and in use as needed, sneeze guards/dividers around stations & bar, hand sanitizer stations, temperature checks etc. Most events will also be outdoors (weather permitting). We also highly encourage getting COVID tested before and after attending.

Is this indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Ceremony & Cocktail Hour will be on the beach. There will be places for you to put your shoes if you want to go barefoot in the sand. The reception will also be outdoors on the harbor side lawn. If the weather does not cooperate, we will have backup indoor space. The after party is at a bar/restaurant on-site that is indoors. However, there is an outdoor patio.

What is the dress code/ attire?

Answer

Semi-Formal. Part of the day will be on the beach. We of course will have a place for people to put their shoes if they do not want to carry or wear on the sand

Will Transportation be Provided?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from the Aloft in downtown Sarasota. We will have the following transportation: - Friday: shuttles from the LBKC welcome reception back to the Aloft - Saturday: shuttle from the Aloft to the LBKC for the ceremony. The shuttle will arrive by 330, and depart at 345. - Shuttles from the ceremony and cocktail hour and the beach over to the Harbourside lawn for the reception - Shuttles following the end of the reception back to the LBKC beachside and the Aloft for those not staying for the after party. (The after party is next to the reception area and requires no transport) - Shuttles from the after party back to the LBKC beach side and the Aloft
