Brenna is Amethyst’s bestie soul mate. They met studying abroad at the University of Cambridge and solidified their friendship with a months worth of travel through Europe. While they've never lived closer than 400 miles to one another, they've managed to cultivate a relationship more family than friend. They share a deep rooted passion for Kesha and exploring new places and are each other’s go-to human for all things. Keep an eye out for Bramethyst international 😉
Robby

In elementary school, Garrett was the only person Robby would allow watch him draw dragon portraits. Robby is Garrett's oldest friend. They grew up building Bionicles, playing Super Smash Bros, and now they grind their joints into a pulp running races together. Robby is also Garrett's outdoor advisor and was the first to teach him how to pitch a tent. Robby is the most patient person Garrett knows and in the top ten of the world's best listeners.
Jami

Jami, or as Amethyst calls her, JL, is Amethyst’s oldest friend! Jami has seen Amethyst through a multitude of seasons and been a consistently loyal and loving bestie throughout them all. Jami is an irreplaceable piece of Amethyst’s person, championing her every step of the way as she’s grown into her own person. They both have a love of lifting heavy, hipster music, and immaculately shaped eyebrows. (oh, and they are the living remnants of their high school youth group days)
Dylan
Wedding Party
Everyone who knows Dylan knows that he is the life of the party. Garrett and Dylan came of age together in the alfalfa fields of Fallon and have remained each other's partner in shenanigans ever since. You can always count on Dylan to recommend a good book and an equally amazing bar. He represents the fullest spectrum of friendship, offering the most fun adventures and a shoulder to lean on in the same breath. Ask him about his celery juice recipe!
Keelin
Wedding Party
The first time Keelin and Amethyst hung out, they were ghosted by their small group and chose to instead hang out for four straight hours. They bonded over their shared love of international travel and women's empowerment. Keelin is always down for a good time and always shows up authentically. Everyone who knows Keelin knows she is the best cheerleader a friend could have! And as a badass herself, she's the easiest to cheer on too.
Paolo
Wedding Party
Paolo and Garrett warmed the bench during high school basketball season, keeping stats and waiting for their moment of glory. They both grew up in Fallon and decided to pursue higher ed outside of Nevada. Paolo visited Garrett while he lived in London and they shared a magical trip to Wales together. Both are idealists who enjoy pitching new ideas, dreaming big, and supporting each other in achieving their goals.
Ife

While both have different stories about the first time they met, one thing is for sure, Amethyst and Ife are the bestie-duo this world needs. Inspired by Heath and Zane, you're likely to hear them refer to each other as "baby." Both are always ready to have a good time, share some tears and belly laughs.

If you ask them, Jordan and Garrett will be the first to tell you that they "changed the conversation." They both served as president and vice president of WSU's student body their senior year. Jordan matches Garrett's level of extra in all the most important ways. They love boppin around, having deep conversations, and long blinks. Gummy bears and chicken nuggets are a quick way to this man's heart.
Maria

Maria and Amethyst met in college and forged their friendship in the fires of recruitment season as admission counselors for WSU. Amethyst has always admired Maria's tenacity for social justice and her ability to light up a room just by walking into it. Maria is Amethyst's go-to authority on popular culture and all around bad-ass.
Colleen

Lettuce introduce you to THE Colleen McMahon-Basler. Colleen and Garrett met sophomore year at WSU and became each other's support system through the tumultuous career that is college. They were often called siblings and it's no surprise since Colleen is one of the most loyal friends you could ask for.
Nathan
Wedding Party
Nathan has known Amethyst since she arrived on this planet. They have shared many plastic sword fights, airlift wars, and multiple forays into video production. Their family remembers them for their childhood production company, "Mountain Kids" and if you're feeling extra inclined you can ask Nathan how to get swole using Na-90x. Nathan has been a confidant and friend for the entirety of Amethyst's life and has always been more of a brother than a cousin.
Kevin
Wedding Party
Kevin and Garrett attended both WSU and LSE together. Garrett was Kevin's Catholic confirmation sponsor and Kevin is Garrett's go-to authority on wine-tastings and political commentary. Both enjoy good food and bougie activities. Kevin is an example of what it means to be a good friend and civically engaged. One of Garrett's favorite memories with Kevin is standing in Times Square for 13 hours waiting for the ball to drop to ring in the new year.
Toby

Amethyst met Toby when he showed up at her cousin's house for an airsoft war. They shared the daily drive to high school in which they would scream along to A Day to Remember and lament about their small town life. Today Toby is more than a cousin, he is one of Amethyst's most consistent supporters and brother in all ways but blood.
Kelsey

Kelsey and Garrett met in a personal narrative course. They were both late to their next class because they would spend so much time talking after class. They share a sense of adventure and a love of Europe, and bougie cocktails. Kelsey is Garrett's social justice role model.
