We're getting married!

We met in June 2018 when a group of family and friends decided to attend Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, TN. There was an instant connection and we decided to continue the relationship back in Oklahoma. For the next two years we did long distance between University of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University while we finished up our degrees. When the pandemic hit we settle down in Edmond, Oklahoma. We recently relocated to the DFW area with our two cats Molly and Pip.

Garrett planned to propose at Bonnaroo in September 2021 but Hurricane Ida had different plans. After heavy rainfall in the Manchester area, the festival camp grounds became flooded and Bonnaroo was cancelled. We still made our way to Tennessee and spent Labor Day weekend in Nashville. Around sunset Garrett gathered our group and we made our way to the Parthenon. Little did Emily know Garrett had something up his sleeve. While taking group photos Garrett dropped to one knee and asked Emily to marry him. She said yes and the rest is history.

The ceremony and reception are taking place in Leonard, Texas at the Grand Ivory. The ceremony begins at 4:00pm.
